Totally agree, both Boro and Sunderland will both be around 8th to 13th.

Can’t argue with that. I said to the lads today. Two similar teams in terms of talent and potential. Neither side have a top class striker.
Second half we were a different beast and bossed them for 35 minutes. Just couldn’t capitalise fully.
Even our goal comes from a messed up set piece and Forss creates something out of nothing. Our best player today for me. Seems to be gettting better all the time

If either us or Sunderland had a player like Akpom we'd be easily hunting down third spot this season.
Both teams held the ball ok, moved it towards the opposition and most importantly got it into the box regularly. The amount of sitters and well placed crosses missed by both teams was crazy today.
The key difference is that Sunderland could at least bring someone on to probe at goal - which worked - but we are without a plan A and plan B. Greenwood and Hackney are getting in the right positions for a midfielder soaking up parried and deflected attempts from a striker, but they don't have the decisive edge to lead an attacking line.
The touch and control of Forss today is something I can't imagine any other player doing in the box under pressure. Once he was off I just couldn't see us getting a second.

Both teams are too inconsistent for play-offs.
It will be Cov and WBA who finish 5th and 6th.

Hull, WBA, Coventry, Ipswich, Leeds, Southampton all much stronger than both us and Blunderland. Forget Leicester, they are long gone.
We are in a group with the likes of Norwich, Watford, Preston, Brizzle who are just mediocre Championship teams at the moment.
It's absolutely bonkers that we didn't address the glaring hole in our team, relying on Coburn has ultimately thrown him under the bus and the abuse he is receiving is baffling. He should have been our 3rd chocie CF this season behind Lath and A.N Other.
