Obviously we want Swansea to pull off a victory away at Millwall and Peterborough to get simply anything home against Luton, but what are our thoughts on the Blades v QPR?

The logical answer would be the draw as it keeps both behind us and a point vanishes, but a Blades win would even at this early stage go a long way to ruling another team out of the race due to being behind with less games to play?
Whilst a QPR win, unless it's to the tune of by 8 goals would still keep them both behind us and put the team IMO more dangerous of the two further behind....🤔

Thoughts?

Agree with you on the first two games Ipad1977, but a draw keeps Sheffield and QPR behind still and us 2 games in hand.

It's in our hands whether we get into the play-offs or not .. so, I don't care if one team or another goes above us .. I'd rather tougher teams fail to make the playoffs .. and as said above, Sheff Utd would be the danger team - so I want a QPR win

Though you may not care about temporary places, as Coluka also says a QPR win (unless it's an absolute cricket score) keeps them both behind us too and keeps the table looking nicer.😁

I'd go on record as saying I'd be happy with either a draw or a QPR win, but if QPR do win I want it to be by 3 goals or so, just to also leave the pair of them with a GD 4/5 goals worse than ours.😛

QPR win, they still have to play each other twice and I think QPR are the worst of the two sides.

It ensures there's less chance of that second match being a dead rubber for QPR.

Preston player Archer - deliberately - imho kicked Blackpool keeper in the head, knew, exactly what he was doing.

I hate the ex players "accidental, no intent" too many of these & elbows.. should have been red & should be a big ban.
