Tuchel and Poch

Both interested in the England managers job should Southgate resign.

How would you feel about 1 of those 2 getting the job?

Tuchel would be my preferred option out of the 2. In a way I do like the England manager to be English though but you can’t ignore quality coaches like them 2 if there is a chance

They're both too young to go into International management. The FA won't sack Southgate, they'll leave it up to him to decide.

Of course he won’t be sacked. But there is lots of speculation online he is going to resign.

Southgate has the right to make the call, if he stays on we should back him as he’s been brilliant, if he leaves then I thank him and we move on

Tuchel came across like a bit of a pr*ck when he managed Chelsea. Chewy fuqer who expected to turn up and win.

Couldn’t turn it around once things started to get tricky too. Despite that squad.

Prefer Poch of the two but would let Southgate have the Euros if he wants to stay on.

I think the players are happy under Southgate.

Tuchel did win the champions league though.

I would be shocked if either of them stepped away from club management this early in their careers. They can both go to top clubs where they could win the lot

International managers rarely leave with their reputations in tact.

Its a very good time for GS to go. His stock is pretty high.
He’s a sensible lad and will weigh up the risk of it going up/down if he stays.

I just think there's a world of difference between Southgate and Martinez for example. Belgium has failed even with its 'golden era' squad. Their best players are all over 30 and there's not much coming through. I think England is different as there's still a World Cup cycle left in the majority of the current squad.

If Southgate goes I think the job should go to an English coach, we've been down this road before with Sven and Capello and it didn't work,, there starts be less connection between the public and team, as it's just another team of overhyped individuals like Chelsea, Man City or Liverpool. So you are looking at someone like Lampard from EPL, our own Michael Carrick or promotion from within, Lee Carsley current u21 boss played for Republic of Ireland thanks to an Irish Grandmother.
