Tube Geeks... Something to waste a few hours.

I only saw this yesterday. Had a quick blast at lunchtime and got to 40% in about half an hour but I think every 1% after that would have taken me as long. I used to live on the east side of the Elizabeth Line so probably have an advantage with that. The central Tube stations are all fairly straightforward but it gets difficult once you get further out.

Agree it gets more difficult when you get further out, however there's two on the central line I'm really stuck on (total mind blank) just above Hyde Park - so obvious and I'm going to kick myself when I finally do get them - then I think Zones 1 and 2 (and perhaps 3) may be done.

More effort needed.......... ;)
I think that one trick is to go away for a bit, and clear your head. My penultimate underground station was a moderately straightforward one but I was overthinking it. So I left it for a while and it came to me. Since completing the underground yesterday I've added another four Overground stations, including one this morning that came to me. 96.7%.

I live at the eastern end of the Central Line and I also used to work centrally probably just before the two that you can't think of (won't spoil), so Central Line was fairly straightforward for me. You just need to remember which versions of the areas you're naming.

Currently at 40% - struggling with stations west and north west of central London at the minute. Got most of zone 1 , most of the overground line south of the river and all of one dlr line, although struggling with some of the stations in Newham area.

Oh I got one of them above Hyde Park by thinking of a very boring man

Edit: Not (RIP). Alive still apparently.

Blimey, I go to Vegas for the weekend (epic, btw) and this all kicks off. Glad to see Capy working his magic. 😁

Wishing I'd not had the connection up to Manchester from LHR so I could have ridden the Piccadilly line and got a few more, but the flights were cheaper this way.

Just out of interest, what staions did you Picadilly line tube pass through ;)

If I'm right, the piccadilly line goes through 9 stations in a row beginning with h at that end.

I’m astounded by this. Well done and commiserations in equal measure. That is amazing.
