It wasn’t a failed impeachment either as trump was impeached he was then “ACQUITTED” (he was not found not guilty he was acquitted.) and was saved by his republican cronies backing him in the senate where all bar 1 republicans voted in his favour (mitt Romney being the only one with a back bone)
Only Three United States presidents have ever been impeached:
Andrew Johnson in 1868,
Bill Clinton in 1998,
and Donald Trump in 2019.
Btw Richard Nixon resigned he was never impeached.
So yes trump was impeached

as a reaction to Trumps persistent claims about 'vote' rigging and refusing to accept the election. It's called Due Diligence, in the face of fascism. If Trump played with a straight bat there would have been no need for a reaction to protect democracy, honestly man where's your head at?
Trump has persistently claimed that there was widespread voter fraud in 2016, but hasn't given a shred of evidence to back that claim up. He's setting the scene to make exactly the same clam and try and delegitimise democracy. This is his doing, he created the need to bring lawyers to the table, because he has no concept of honouring democracy, of the rights of the voters, of justice, he's a crook.
