Trump ruled ineligible to run for President

he is a pretty terrible human being though by any measures of normal society, I mean raped his wife, friends with pedos, doesn't pay contractors in the hope they wont be able to afford to sue him and he gets something for free, walks in on teenage women dressing, pays porn stars for sex so that he can cheat on his wife (again) I mean he is a pretty terrible individual. So what is there to find 'funny' about people recognising that fact?
The whole "Orange Man Bad" is pure projection. Fact it Trump supporters are a cult and won't acknowledge anything he does as being wrong in any way
If Trump is eventually locked up and not able to run for the Presidency, will his supporters create an AI version as a new candidate which you will only see on the Media? The first AI President!
Wasn't that a Black Mirror episode?

There is still a good chance he will be the next POTUS.
No, there really isn't.

It COULD happen, but it's very unlikely. Only his MAGA base will definitely vote for him (because they will vote for him no matter what) but most moderate Republicans don't even want Trump as the nominee.

If SCOTUS decides Colorado (and therefore other states) can keep him off the ballot, you can bet other states will file similar suits. It was a group of Republican voters that started the process to disqualify him from the ballot in Colorado in the first place.

Also it's mainly older people who vote Trump, and he's been telling them not to mail vote. Guess which demographic of Republican voters prefer to mail in their votes?

That's a different case to the one being discussed here, though.
Yeah, this is the frankly ridiculous claim that Trump is immune to prosecution for trying to overthrow democracy while still president.

He hasn't a hope in hell of winning that one (mainly because Biden/the next Democrat could then just legally refuse to leave office, ever) but his tactic is simply to delay that ruling until the election in the vain hope he can then pardon himself.

It won't work because he still has multiple indictments which can and probably will send him to prison (the classified documents case being a major one, and the Georgia RICO case where most of his co-conspirators have turned state's evidence, and those who haven't like Trevian Kutti are clearly insane.).

And yes, he can technically run for (and be president) while incarcerated, but considering the USA balked at electing a female president, that's again highly unlikely.

I just think they, as a voting majority, are stupid enough to vote him back in.

Regardless of the court cases, which, btw, are a cause celebre for him.

Given that neither are particularly attractive as candidates Trump being by far the noisier has the advantage.

What moderate republicans? There's maybe 3 of them left and they all have columns in the New York Times and even they'll come round and kiss the ring if it means another shot at power.

Also people are being very optimistic if they think the supreme court cares about norms and traditions, they'll happily bend the law into a pretzel if it means their guy gets another 4 years in the big chair. And it's pretty clear that if Trump runs Biden will lose and lose badly because he's failed to deliver for ordinary Americans.

Failed to deliver for ordinary Americans?
Only believe that if you listen to Fox and their further right brethren. Even Fix have to report on record low unemployment figures.

I don't think its as unlikely as you think. you can treble your money if you're confident as Trump is 2.44 and Biden 3.15 on the exchanges. People have repeatedly shown that theyre willing to vote for the person that means, no matter how much of a t*t that person is, they can say they WON and the other side LOST. Brexit, Torys vs Labour, Libs vs Dems, even football. People never want to be on the losing side, and many aren't willing to eat crow even when they realise they've backed a lemon.
