Trump continues to MAGA

And the madness continues. A thinktank founded by Trump adviser Stephen Miller is suing John Roberts, the Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court, no less. As the article below points out, if successful this lawsuit would place the entire federal court system under the control of the executive branch - i.e. President Trump.

Stephen Miller's latest fascist lawsuit: Putting courts under Trump's control

Most legal analysts that I've seen talking about this think it has little chance of success, however it's still just emblematic of the direction of travel of the Trump administration right now.

I like the Ralph Wiggum analogy. Ralps latest plans are to open Alcatraz up again - and put a 100% taffifs on non US films - how he does that is anybody's guess. He wont know himself.

The sad thing is the US Film Industry is on a bit of a boom and in a good position at the moment. I am not sure he understands that in his cultist everything should be made in America isolationism brain. His plans would just ruin the industry

Miller wants a dictatorship

Motorola has approx 10k US employees. Am sure they will be delighted they are no longer getting a US pension contribution due to Trump.

Tell you what's funny, that 60 Minutes interview with Kamala that Trump has been raging about for ages, called edited in her favour and fake and all this other nonsense and is pathetically suing CBS over, got nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Edited Interview the other day, haha.

This now reads like a dystopian novel.

Discussing the suspension of habeas corpus is chilling in the extreme. The procedure predates Magna Carta!!

No doubt the courts will rule against it but I’m sure the executive will simply ignore any writs served on them. Then there will be a full blown constitutional crisis. Civil disorder may break out and in different states the police forces may do different things!

What will the armed forces do?

He has not been in office 4 months yet!!
