Don't get me wrong I like Adama, but those players had brilliant deliveries and good goal scoring records. I can't see the comparison. I'm not really sure he is comparable to other players as I can't think of similar.I always maintain he's a throwback footballer. A man out of time. Its why he did so well for pulis.
He isn't a tikitaki or gegenpress footballer. He's a chalk on your boots winger from the 90s. Could have replaced Ripley at Blackburn or kanchelskis at utd or ginola at Newcastle, and he would be considered the star of the league.
I'd love to see someone build a team around him but it won't happen. It's a crime against football that a space can't be found for talents of the likes of him.
