We've graduated from water to blinding pellets of rubber on this thread in about 10 minutes.Maybe this type of thing is what Boris wants to use the army for.
Load up, load up, yer rubber bullets
It isn't as if they are running the economy and people's livelihoods into the ground either.Funny how this protest gets people's backs up but the others that have happened over the past few months are given a wide berth.
Believe it or not but this country is still a free country and people are allowed to protest. It's not like these guys and gals are blocking roads with big pink boats, spraying dye on the front of government owned buildings or defacing memorials and throwing statues in the sea is it?
I think it is the irony of the protest that amuses most people.....first it is likely to tighten restrictions and secondly, they are protesting about having their health protected.....looney tunes.Funny how this protest gets people's backs up but the others that have happened over the past few months are given a wide berth.

The other protests did get people's backs up, so not quite sure what you mean.Funny how this protest gets people's backs up but the others that have happened over the past few months are given a wide berth.

I wager most of them will not have a ‘ substantive ’ Job/contribution to society . Just misfits self glorifying themselves .I think it is the irony of the protest that amuses most people.....first it is likely to tighten restrictions and secondly, they are protesting about having their health protected.....looney tunes.
Right now under the 'Rule of 6', they are. For all intents and purposes.all protests should be banned at the moment - it's just common sense
fruitcakes
I think they may well of undertaken the worst day imaginable In pi##ing off the old bill . I certainly wouldn’t want to cross a Met bobby today as not withstanding them being professional , these Officers are human beings .Right now under the 'Rule of 6', they are. For all intents and purposes.
Which makes one question - why does this government introduce laws they cannot enforce?
Unenforceable laws undermine the principle of the rule of law.
Didn't see any police rushing the XR protests in riot gear or the BLM protests in riot gear or the nurses pay rise protests in riot gear. The other protests did get people's backs up, so not quite sure what you mean.
That shows you how quickly violence can escalate! We've graduated from water to blinding pellets of rubber on this thread in about 10 minutes.
The rule of 6 outlaws mass protest by default.Didn't see any police rushing the XR protests in riot gear or the BLM protests in riot gear or the nurses pay rise protests in riot gear.
People have a right to protest, let them craic on till the police say otherwise.
