I think you're missing the point.

You buy a ticket for a football match, which they all got.

You dont buy a ticket with certain conditions of commitment or skill attached to it, in the same way you go to the pictures and you may see a film that's rubbish or it may be amazing.

You pay your money and you take your chance.

So you don’t mind going to watch a Boro game if the players are not going to give 100% out on the pitch and entertain the fans. Wow, just wow!
 
Lloris was furious at half time and was asked to not come out for the second half. Kane was also reportedly very animated but no one could understand what he was saying.

Not specifically targeted at you, but I do think these sorts of jokes need to be phased out.

Mocking Kane's speech impediment is so, so widespread on the internet, and it's not really on.

I expect every player who puts on a Boro shirt and represents the club to go out and give 100% every single time. The players are well paid and are very lucky to make a living in football. It’s not much to ask that they give 100% out on the pitch. If they do give 100% and they lose then congratulate the opposition.

Does he actually have a speech impediment? I genuinely just thought it was his Essex accent that was difficult to understand.

Do you give 100% at work every single day ? I know I dont and have plenty of off days.
 
I went to see Alien v Predator and it was so sh*t I left about 15mins in. I didn’t email Ridley Scott for a refund.

*edit - Paul W. S. Anderson. It was obviously so sh*t that not even Ridley wanted anything to do with it.
 
It's a weird thing to do. I mean I've seen us pumped by 7s (Highbury) and 5s at home (Chelsea).

Yet never walked out thinking I needed a refund. That's football. You simply sometimes don't 'turn up'

The playoff final against Norwich was far worse. I mean they couldn't even 'turn up' for one of the biggest games ever.

That said the clubs a joke. I do love it when a 'big club' (used loosely) is on its ars@. Also see Liverpool and UTD recently. I'm sorry but fans of those clubs really don't know dark times. Yet phone into Talksport crying about a perseved entitlement about doing well due to name or fanbase size.

Tbf Gaston amd Rav did at least entertain us for a large part of their stay, so with this you could shrug and say "Take the rough with the smooth".
Gestede produced precious little of note and stole a living throughout. He can stump up the lot.👍

We had that for about 6 years out of the last 10 and I never once expected my ticket money back
With spurs it’s not the players fault, it’s the way the clubs run. Fans know this but still want to follow their side
 
Please don't use the phrase "wow, just wow".
We are not F***ing Americans. Nor are Americans people whose behaviour we should be aping. Look at their Alex Jones compared to our Alex Jones. A suitable phrase to use would be "Jesus h. Christ"
 
The 0-4 at Chelsea followed 9 days later by the 1-4 at Crystal Palace near the end of 1992/93 were pretty awful performances from a team hurtling towards relegation. Ironically we won 2 and drew 1 after that in our final 3 games - but it was too late
