Tories changing their tune on Ukraine?

It’s just another Afghanistan or Vietnam now. Stalemate costing a fortune. Pointless to continue. Stop the killing of young men and bombing of towns and villages. Draw a new border roughly where the front is now - half in the East of Ukrainian consider themselves Russian anyway and the fight was going years before Putin invaded. Then get Ukraine into NATO as part of the deal so it’s a hard border and Putin is stopped there. Putin claims a win domestically but in reality loses because the whole point was to stop NATO advancing east.
Move on so people can rebuild their lives.

Russia will have to give up Crimea.......and what happens to the Ukrainians in the East - just told to "go home".🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

Don't think Ukraine will even enter talks until they have ALL of pre 2014 Ukraine back under their control, and guarantees from Russia/DMZs.

There's a lot going on behind the scenes in Europe at the moment to mitigate the Trump influence.
I.m in regular touch with the General. He has been in meetings pretty much solidly for 2 days and that continues tomorrow.
Let's just say the UVDL is in no mood to have Trump decide where borders in Europe are drawn.

If (when) Trump throws Ukraine to Putin the EU/UK will not dare to go against Trump by trying to support Ukraine's independence. The 100k US troops and dozens of military bases across Europe will be used to overthrow any dissenting client European state.
So Trump is elected on a platform of insularity. He then invades UK/France/NL or other ‘client state’.
I don’t think so.
