Too much bellicose posting

There are some entrenched positions on Brexit in particular which are unlikely to be altered by either reasoned debate of bellicose posturing ... and this goes for both sides of the argument. If you can't avoid lumping groups of posters together and labelling them stupid/ignorant/incapable of accepting facts/analysis etc then don't be surprised if you antagonise them. By the same token, if you find one poster's belligerance intolerable, do us all a favour and ignore them. If it doesn't simmer down there'll be some "naughty step" treatment handed out. And it doesn't matter how well known or otherwise reasonable you are on here. We can do without constant reports of bullying/insults/aggression. We have lives ... remarkably enough.
Thanks for your attention.

Most of the post from the remain side are about bringing awareness to people that just follow the standard news.

They are then hijacked by people that dont want a debate (both sides) and yes it turns into a slanging match.

The whole point those is awareness and what people are not seeing!

Fine by me. Just for awareness I'm still going to raise Brexit issues when they come up. I don't see anything wrong with discussing brand new news topics. I'll just bite my tongue when the responses get personal rather than factual. I assume others will use the same courtesy.

This just confirms the OP about entrenched positions and a one sided approach.

If you were aware you would have realised that. It's not a one way street.

I agree with you SmallTown & although you disagree I don't jump on you because it's you, I do because of the name calling you do
I don't have an issue with loads of Brexit posts on flyme, as has been mentioned we can learn from both sides points of the debate, I do actually reads most of them, the great thing about this board is the vast amount of different topics & long may it continue

Yes I am entrenched in my position, but that doesnt stop debate!

Awareness and debating is one thing, name calling and singling people out is another.

I totally agree with OP on this point:
"if you find one poster's belligerance intolerable, do us all a favour and ignore them"

I want people to see my side, by bringing awareness to issues, any issue that are important to me.
