I've dropped a fatty for tonight's game.

I don't know if you remember I was wax lyrical about the new Wonka film and telling posters to switch their brains off and let their inner child out. Well, that's what I have done. Last week, the wife asked if I fancied going to the pictures on Tuesday and I agreed. The child in me never even thought of it clashing with the game but there I will be, sat in the flicks watching Wonka Vision while the game is going on.

Luckily we've got tickets for the 6 pm viewing and I should be back home to catch the second half.
 
Nothing an in ear pod (in the side opposite your mrs) wouldn't sort out. She may even think you're really getting into the film.

It's okay, you should be well home and settled in time for extra time and penalties 😬
 
My daughter's got an awards ceremony at her school. To be honest, I hate games against lower league sides where we're expected to win. If we lose, it's humiliation; if we win it's only to be expected anyhow. I'll be checking for updates on my phone, natch, but not too bothered to be missing it. With all the injuries and away from home at night...not super-confident.
Will be great if we do make it to be in the semis with some of our key players back though. If we have Hackney, McGree, McLair, Coburn fit, I reckon we can give anyone left a good game

Well my daughter asked me last night to book for tonight. So I did. 8PM show. 4 tickets for the family.

Only realised what I’d done 2 hours later.

Anybody want a ticket for tonight. I’m staying home!
 
Well , I'm surprised by all this. Basically , there is 4 Golden tickets to the SF of the League cup in this round , and all you oompah lumpahs just want to go off and see a film. Not even an original. One that's , granted a good story n that , but been done a few times like now. The lack of your planning around Boro, makes me wanna scream and scream and scream
 
Just got in and settled, got me Coca Cola and bag of M & M’s out, and my seat in the laid back position only to be told ‘you are in my seat’ and had to move to the row behind. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

This what happens when you let two old duffers loose. 🤣🤣🤣
