Tom Lockyer

Post brexit referendum world isn't it? Everyone's opinion is now equally valid, regardless of expertise.

I doubt the posters in question really do think they know more than cardiologists, but our culture now is to express your opinion with the same confidence as if you were an expert.

(ways the tories have ****ed up the country number #235).
Footballer suffers cardiac problems on pitch.
Expert says you'll be fine to carry on playing.
Footballer collapses on pitch with cardiac problems.
Idiot says expert was right.

My best wishes to Tom for a successful recovery and long life.

This is a strange one has he had heart surgery in June. You would think more is known about his heart than 99% of the UK population

This one being more serious than atrial fibrillation by the sounds of it, poor fella.

Our manager at Billy Town during pre season training last year, ex pro and still fairly young and fit, suffered a cardiac arrest. He survived it but a fortnight later had another at home which he unfortunately didn't.

A long period of convalescing now for Tom Lockyer, hope he's on the mend.

Well you just have to look at this thread to see why they released that info… to shut up the armchair cardiology experts

If Lockyer want's the information to be released, I have no problem with this. The club will not have released it without his request or, at least, agreement.

If anyone is interested in cardiac arrhythmia and their meaning, this link is quite useful. link

Assuming this was a cardiac arrest, it was almost certainly VTach or VFib.
