Irregular heartbeat that led to elevated heart rate at times. Had an operation earlier in the year.

Really!!! Time and a place!! Lads collapsed on a pitch and you're on here stirring for trouble? Considering it's now happened twice in 6 months and he has been treated for it I think most people would be thinking along the lines of is it worth it, keeping going

I agree, life’s precious and health is wealth, but medical experts have given him the green light to play on. He’s undoubtedly had the best treatment available

Life is short and he needs to take care, and give himself the best chance to live a normal life.

An ablation isn't perfect. He might need another one. Or it might not have taken properly. From my experience, having had the same op, I still get the odd blip. I'm not an athlete though who pushes their body to the limit like he does.
