We've been successful with a few short term options in recent years. Watmore initially signed a 6 month deal. I think Tommy Smith did too.
We also signed Luongo for 6 months - probably should have extended that one.

I can overlook his 6 games in the Gibraltar league while gaining fitness in favour of his 186 championship appearances - for QPR, Forest, Blackburn, Coventry, Hull, Bristol and Preston.

Cranie played another 3 championship seasons after we released him. He was offered a 4th at Luton but turned it down and retired.

Every signing can't be a 22 year old wonderkid. There's literally no downside to signing Todd Kane... He's free, cheap wages, and has loads of experience.

Don't see the issue. Champo experienced and free. No doubt pretty low wages and coming in as a short term stop gap to fill a problem position.

If he's cack then move him on in the summer after a short term deal. That or he's like Smith / Watmore and we give him a better deal that he's earned.

Absolutely no negatives about bringing him in for 6 months. The fact he's played in Gibraltar is not something to bash him with. Just forget about the 150+ champo appearances .
