To Catch a Copper C4

That cops excuse for having sex with the drunk woman was the most implausible thing I’ve ever heard. Yet he was found innocent. Crazy.

A grand jury found him not guilty after only 1 hour of deliberations, so what do we know.
The prosecutor sounded like he had a vendetta against him yet nothing would stick.

I agree though his story of events were ridiculous.

Yep it was just ludicrous. Can’t believe he had the audacity to appear on TV repeating that nonsense to the camera.
Absolutely shocking theres no doubt in my mind he raped the woman and he was retired early with full police pension.
The whole programme was depressingly predictable with a lack of consequences for abusive policing

A vendetta? He was just doing his job and understood both how serious it was and how ludicrous his defence argument was.

She sat on him got his nob out played with it then sat on it, story reminds me of that vid with the german guy who just wants to peel his potatoes

This is still bothering me today particularly the terrible treatment of the poor suicidal girl. She is someone's daughter or sister I would be horrified if my daughter was treated like that

Some right wrong’uns in the police force. Likewise, there are many more good police officers working in difficult conditions.

An old work mate had a run in with a Police Officer years ago. He started seeing an Officers ex. He then had months of both him and his missus being stalked / terrorised by the bloke.

He was using police tracking systems to monitor his vehicle movements amongst him turning up at their houses and just parking outside - on and off duty. He went on lunch one day at work with a female colleague, and he must have been watching him as he rang his GF asking why he was out for lunch with another girl etc.

In the end, my mate had enough and put in a complaint to the police. To be fair, they took it very seriously and launched an investigation.

It turned out he was doing this to multiple ex girlfriends. The deeper they dug, the more evidence they found.

He ended up going to court and doing Jail time because of it. I did Google it to see if I could find an article but it was a needle in a haystack job. So many other ex officers have been convicted for similar offences it would seem! 🙈

I worked with an ex copper who bragged about a refugee getting beat up in a case of mistaken identity . He thought it was a really funny turn of events. Also bragged about no of complaints against himself as copper at one time. Surprisingly enough the guy was an absolute bully when i worked for him

Episode 2 tonight, personally didn’t see anything wrong with the policing. I think they got it spot on.

They escalated the situation on the bus to start with and that inflamed the situation. That turned into something that it didn't need to and ended up with the discharge of spray right near a child.

The woman wasn't exactly innocent but they were pushing buttons

The bus driver should have been given a warning, the police trained properly about defusing a situation and lady fined. I feel sorry for the child in this incident.

Bus drivers put up with a lot of **** in fairness and they don't get paid enough for it. Who does?

But I've seen bus drivers be just as awful to passengers. London bus drivers in particular

Is that the one I just watched where they left a black man with a bleed on his brain in his own vomit with no medical treatment for hours?
Surely missed the fact he stated he’d been drinking vodka… ohh and he’d been arrested for climbing through someone’s window. Did he bang his head on landing? Is the message here don’t climb through peoples windows.

I thought all were all mixed bag really.
The bus situation didnt need to escalate and they could've had a calm chat. The presence of the child should've been their number one thought.
The guy with the head injury did show signs you'd associate with intoxication (and the police aren't medical professionals) however he did complain about his head a lot of times and they left him for three hours.
The other incident i didn't really see but given hed done nothing and was pava sprayed within a very short period of the police approaching him something has gone wrong.
