It would certainly help but don’t think it would of made much difference today. The supply was abysmal. Woeful team performance from back to front
 
But the motivation to bust a gut to give the striker the ball is what is lacking

so imagine your a mf that had done all that work would you pass to him to see yet another poor non shot come from it

or shoot your self

And people wonder why saville or Johnson shoot them selves

If he is, we made him so. He managed to get 15 goals a season still despite us often setting up defensively and changing the team every week.

Yea he makes frustrating decisions, but he was still scoring goals & we have consistently said we provide terrible service to strikers. That hasn’t massively changes and he is suddenly getting good service. If we had bought most of our previous targets they would have just had the same happen to them.
