Things to do in Berwick

Born in Berwick but haven't lived there since I was about 2. Still visit a lot as I have family around there and in the borders.

Lots of good suggestions and I'd just add the possibility of heading over the border into Scotland to places like St Abbs and Eyemouth and inland along the Tweed to Coldstream and even maybe Galahsiels or Hawick if you have time. Some lovely parts of the Berwickshire borders to explore.

My parents had a caravan in berwick and we took our kids (5 and 4) there loads of times. we used to love spittal beach with a little water splash park there as well as a little cafe, holy island is a nice trip along with Bamburgh Castle as well.

Take a boat trip from Seahouses to the Farne Islands to see Puffins and Seals.

Train to Edinburgh then bus to the zoo, sounds a drag but is dead easy, used to do it loads.
