These steak places popping up everywhere

I’ve been to Potto 2 years ago nice but that’s it. Overpriced.
Thought everything lacked decent seasoning

quite enjoyed our visit to Tomahawks in Yarm last year. Pricey, but decent. I’m not a die hard connoisseur of “high quality” steak though (even in Argentina) and whenever I have it I go big on peppercorn sauce anyway. Give me a no-nonsense back alley curry any night of the week.

Went to the Tomahawk at Potto this evening - wife had a full Lobster, I had the Wagyu beef Ribeye

Wife was still raving about the Lobster when she went to bed, I think I had a better steak at Mannys in Florida, but not by much - it was very tasty indeed. Overall a thoroughly nice evening, it was a little more expensive, but after recent months I think we deserved it!

The French know how to cook at steak-- keep it simple but prepare it-- so many restaurants just unfreeze it and away you go attitude-- the sauce is meant to cover up whatever happened to it in the prep.

Better in what way? Spiritually, physically, mentally or financially?

If you could be better off (all of the following or select appropriately)
financially, spiritually, physically and/or mentally whilst slowing global warming would you........

This place is terrible. They will have to improve significantly for the London branch to survive. I Feel they have been lucky there’s little competition up here and people have lower expectations of what a restaurant should be.

Which place?

Who has lower expectations of what a restaurant should be and what makes you say that?
