Two of them wearing balaclarvas just rode down the pedestrian area near Binns/Barclays.

When is this going to stop? Its not the crime of the century but was very intimidating

Surely the town centre has CCTV?

I was more concerned about how they were riding the bikes and their choice of clothing. I was just nipping to the bank probably the only time i would venture into town on a non match day now

There may be CCTV down there but I don't imagine it is continuously monitored. They will look at footage if and when a crime is committed.

I read it as a couple of chavs on push bikes? If they were motorbikes then that's a bit more dangerous in a pedestrian zone.

They recently arrested 10 of them *&*%$£rs on motorbikes and quads, I would say little shoites but one was 42 years old FFS.

I've just been in on my dinner break and was asked 3 times if I had any 'spare change'.

Zombies scuttling about off their chops on gear, little horrible chavs running amok.. shocking really.

The council should have a system of vans driving around the town centre just bundling them all into the back.. whisked off never to be seen again.

I may have jumped the gun there, just took it as carry on from the gazette story about the off road bikes causing problems the other day.

I went to Mela at the weekend, Cleveland Police had a stall up practically begging people to apply due to this, apparently they’ve just secured funding for jobs. Applied for one this morning.
