I love the way @Jedi boro claims i have an ego and yet two people specifically commented onthis thread just to insult me and ignore the OP.

Hardly surprising is it? Given the amount some people are obsessed with me.

As Eleanor Roosevelt once said. "Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, mediocre minds discuss people" I guess we just have to put up withthose mediocre minds who'd rather insult me than actually discuss the topic. It's a shame. We should be better than. Some aren't.

In the words of Ralf Little, "amazing how many people don't realise that phrase is actually a compliment, not an insult. As it points out that a person is lucky enough to have a comfortable life, but also wants a fairer society for those who don't".
I remember a similar thing with Andy Burnham at the labour leadership elections hustings when some one tried to use his oxbridge education against him.

His response was brilliant he basically said are you saying because I’m from a working class northern family Oxbridge shouldn't be for people like me.

This isn't though. There is a growing unrest with this government. Don't confuse bored youth with an uprising.
So 2 years ago at the last General election you voted Conservative based on your own IR35 self interests and now you're advocating civil unrest and a violent uprising to overthrow them ?

Something doesn't quite add up, does it ?

Btw there’s only one person throwing “insults” what ever that means and naming names on this thread and isn’t me.

So why arnt people doing something about this and changing their suppliers to UK owned companies like Ecotricity that have no shareholders and all profits pumped back into green projects.
"Ecotricity began with a mission to replace electricity made by burning fossil fuels with green energy. We succeeded and now we aim to replace fossil fuel natural gas with sustainable green gas.
So, we’ve started building green gas mills and our first one will be up and running soon."
Its OK to whinge and moan about it but something else to actually do something about it.
I'll look into changing to them. People like me become frustrated and just want to do something rather than sit idle while the government and big businesses give us the finger. Unless people get good orchestrated advice all we can think to do is strike, march and smash things up.

I don't think the government fully understand the scale of what this is going to do to the population in general.

Both of the main candidates are talking about measures that will see households receiving help that totals less than £200, which is around half the increase for a single month.

I can’t write what I’d really like to see happen as I’d end up on a watchlist but it is going to take violence and destruction on a huge scale before the elites will be minded to change anything.
I am enjoying the campaign swelling up in America that sees protests at the residences of billionaires. Don’t give these horrible greedy f*ckers a moment of peace. Of course, I’d never advocate that in the UK…
That's the way to go. Find the residencies of the profiteers and protest outside their mansions.
Take a sh it on their doorstep rather than in a town centre.

Alas.

They. Do. Not. Care.

Let the frozen bodies pile high! All that matters is that shareholder value is maintained.

Yes something doesn't add up. Becasue you're lying. Or at least ommiting must of the truth. But I suspect you know that

I think they do. I genuinely think they just don't care. Brexit has proven you can be as nasty to the population as you like, introduce a policy thay will directly harm them and convince them it won't.

That's why we need an uprising

I agree that they don't care, but even just their own selfish political survival is at risk here.

And yearly profit increase is maintained. Somebody has to pay for it.

When the violence starts the police will struggle due to their decimated workforce. The CPS & courts are already buckling under Tory austerity measures.

Is this where the armed forces are brought in and democracy ends?

Whatever you say 🥴
Apologies. It's three people derailing the thread just to have a go at me. I'm popular today with the small minded aren't I!

And yes, i have said it. You've chosen to ignore it becasue it doesn't fit in with your attack. So, not only are you petty and small enough to want to attack a random stranger on the Internet. You're also poor enough to lie in order to do it. You just need to be better than you are

Yeah that's why the 3.5% rule is important here. There's always going to be people who don't rise up, or defend them, but it doesn't take as many as you think to effect change
