They finished 6th last year too.
That's the reality of a derby game and how much more home advantage counts.well over the two league games this season - Sunderland would have knocked us out.
we win 1-0 at home - they win 2-0 at lightbulb park.
Yep.Imagine a Boro v Mackem final. London would be interesting. I think someone said that Newcastle are at Chelsea the same weekend too.
Have to admit this is a possibility. We were dodgy today ......but bossed Cov 2nd half , Them lot have to play the biggest fouliest team in the champo & will get physically fouled & bossed
they get found out with VAR mate , foul constantly from free kicks etc, only reason they beat us there was fouls from cornersHave to admit this is a possibility.
IF we get past the Sky Blues then I'd rather face Luton on the big Wembley pitch, but if not then provided the Hatters take out a few of the Sunderland lads to join their mate Stewart then I won't be too disgruntled.
These are my thoughts too, Sunderland are like a knock off version of us, I reckon on that massive pitch there would be space all over, it’d be end to end and I’d probably have a heart attack.Have to admit this is a possibility.

Pity they will lose to Luton then.well over the two league games this season - Sunderland would have knocked us out.
