Just got back from Le Cochon Aveugle in York. Tasting menu with wine pairing.

Best food I have ever had and then find out we are 1-0 up.

Could this be the perfect day?
 
Good half. We need to keep it up in the second as playing well the full 90 has troubled us. Akpom looks a lot more on it than watmore at the minute. impressed by how Giles is getting the crosses in. Doesn't even seem to need a yard to whip a quality ball in.
 
Played some lovely stuff to create openings, but it's as clear as day that a goalscorer would have put this game to bed already.
Nice balance on both sides and 3 centre halves comfortable on the ball. Some canny additions and we'll be ok.
 
Giles and Akpom losing the ball between them, happy to start heading back into our half, Watmore is there chasing the ball down putting there player under pressure, and winning the ball back because of that pressure, we need more players to do this.
 
Very comfortable half but as usual we should have got another goal. I think if you look at the signings they've made and then how many more we have to come in, that was a very impressive half.

I reckon we will more than double our incoming signings by the end of August.
