Teetotal for me this weekend due to recovery time after me surgery....looking forward to a beer next weekend though. Looking forward to tomorrow...at least I've got football to keep me occupied for most of the day...I'm soooo bored already...not good when you're only a week in and looking at at least another 4-5 weeks

Villa Maria for me this evening - a bit peeved as we were supposed to go to a wedding darn sarf but I've been laid up for 3 days with some variant of a virus - not covid as both tests negative - but something that feels very close indeed. Still a bit off it but a couple of glasses of vino can't hurt.

Anyway...here's to the weekend...

Yeah, probably. I had a couple on draft two weeks back when I was in Brum with work and they were really good, so I thought I’d try the cans. Ok for the price

Had this bitching cough sine I got back from Benidorm 5 weeks ago so I'm on the Irish cough medicine which I bought at "duty free," hopefully will allow me to sleep tonight.

(Walking round Manchester last Tuesday & Wednesday in the pl$$ing down rain didn't help my condition - but The Pineapple Thief were fantastic..... so swings & roundabouts.)

Pint in Sun Inn, Storytellers, 2 in Tipsy Turtle (Dortmunder ) , Red Lion, then the last one in the Sun Inn
Some c,un"ts nicked my mate's taxi to Boro, but an absolute gem of a driver agreed to take him home then me in same trip for original combined price of the 2
