Evening folks, tremendous win midweek against Preston and truth be told we could have won by an even bigger margin. That Preston have had an excellent season themselves and have been brushed aside gives me a grwoing confidence and the new signings are slowly but surely all knitting together and we're looking very strong again. Big shout out to Matt Clarke who has suffered appalling luck with his injury but hopefully its his last for a long, long time and we start seeing what he can do. He was putting himself about when he came on so he's still very committed despite the injuries. I'm sure there's a lot more to come from him.

Looking to the game against the dirties tomorrow they'll be expected to win at home with a premier league squad, but having shown we can rise to the occassion against the likes of Leicester and Southampton, I feel with a bit of luck we might give them more than they bargained for. I'd be delighted with a draw, but 3 points down at their place would be a fantastic start to December and some early Christmas cheer.

To get started with a drink I have a couple of these Piraat bottles in the fridge and so may indulge in those though I'd expect to follow that up with a hangover in the morning as they're not for the faint-hearted.

To kick us off with a track it would feel wrong not to get things moving a Pogues track given the unfortunate passing of Shane MacGowan yesterday, a somewhat underappreciated songwriter by many but somone who's art will become ever more respected in the years to come I think. Here's my favourite track by The Pogues, A Rainy Night in Soho. I'll soon be following it with another track I love by Shane MacGowan and the equally fantastic Sinead O'Connor.

Happy weekend folks.

Evening all and best wishes for a great weekend. Bagged myself tickets for the Squeeze 40th anniversary tour yesterday. Not the most popular band at the time although made some great songs. Just found a bottle of Kwak at the back of the cupboard, so happy days.
