The weekend beer and music thread

Booze is my usual Sauvignon blank. The Ned only £8.50 a pop in Morrisons Penrith. I’m over in the lakes for a few quiet days hiking around, spent a nice day pootling around Barton fell today, clocked up about 10 miles.

Music wise, given what i can hear on the caravan roof there is only one song this week, this is a great version from Annie and Dave for prisoner 46664…….

Meant to say, I used to sing that Rory Gallagher song in a band I was in back in the early '90s. God, we were terrible. One pub put the jukebox on to try and drown us out.

Back from a lovely week on the Black Sea, just me and the missus, the beach and probably too many cold beverages, We're beach people rather than hotel pools, and Sunny Beach is a special beach.

So even though I was daft enough not to book today off work and had a full 2 weeks off, I was back today for one day only, I love bank holidays me.

Amelia Coburn- Down at the tube station at midnight.

A welcome home Gin, why not?

One of my favourite songs, her version is awesome thanks for that.

Well after the shambles of today, I need to drown my sorrows and forget the soft nature of our defeat. Carricks views were glass half full, I expect mine to be repeatedly empty after witnessing that. My eyes, my eyes…

I’ll let you work out what ESB stands for but I have my own spin after today. The B is for Boro

As for music, well I’ll probably have a headache in the morning now, so this song seems sort of appropriate given how I feel, from one of my favourite groups
