I always liked this one of the Upstarts and once sang it at a bandbox in a pub outside Glasgow Central Station prior to making my way up to Hampden Park for the Scotland v England Rous Cup game in 1985. There was me a lad from South Shields and everyone else was Scottish in the pub. They insisted one of us got up and sang and I got the short straw. I got on stage in my England shirt and started singing this and it was incredible watching about 100 jocks all waving their scarves and joining in. It was one of them things that when you look back you wonder how you got away with it.

This is a band on my "I need to given them a try" list. I was just a smidge too young to listen to them, although I was aware of their existence when I was at school (then the New Romantic movement came along and caught me off guard lol). Where do you recommend I start???

They're a band I don't know much about and I am sure there are others on here more qualified to guide you on this.
 
Finishing off my keg of Leffe Blonde on PerfectDraft ( beautiful drink) deffo not a sesh drink mind haha . Loving my 80s tonight . Was never big Duran Duran fan in the day but this song and video in my eyes and ears is brilliant. Only first heard it 2 yrs ago and can't believe it was a b side.. The Chauffeur !! Sorry trying to share youtube video but not a clue if somebody would care to guide me haha

This is what Leffe can do to you hehe! (can't argue with your choice of drink or your choice of music though!).....just copy the Youtube URL and paste in the chat and it'll put the video in there for you.

I recommend you start with Farley Jackmaster Funk where proper music started and go from there 💪

Listening to wifey favourite now ..I ran ... flock of seagulls . Great 80s tune . Still not a clue how to post YouTube vids . Deffo need teaching session haha

Very simple. Just highlight the URL of the video, copy it and paste it on here. Even I can do it and I'm as thick as pig sh*t.
