This is my advent calendar treat today. Crackendale Citra Pale Ale.

I Like this one, it goes down very easily for a Sunday evening.

My music choice is Little Anthony's 'Better Use Your Head' from my Norther Soul days and my visits to Wigan Casino. I just wish I could still move as quickly as I did in them days.

I'm listening to an ice cream van playing the MOTD theme. I hear that bloody thing all the time around here and it's really annoying. I'm pretty sure that ice cream van isn't really selling ice cream. Who the flip buys an ice cream from an ice cream van in the middle of December?

A football hating friend of mine once told me that every time he hears the MOTD theme he finds himself singing along with it in his head with "Oh just f*ck off, you f*cking b@stards, f*ck off you f*cking c*nts." and now I find myself doing the same thing. I can't help it.

Just read on the bottle that it is brewed for Manchester, that's why it must be called Snake Lager.

Saw Wilko a couple of years back at the Stylus in Leeds supported by Hugh Cornwell. Cornwell was brilliant, and I thought they had got the billing the wrong way round. Turns out they didn't.
