The weekend 🍻 🍷 and 🎶 🎵 thread

I've been to the Harrogate Woodturning Show this morning and managed to get home before the start of the match. The wife never came with me this year so I was let loose to spend on whatever I wanted and bought an air filter for my workshop. That should save my lungs a bit.

Been listening to some great tunes over the week whilst sanding the coffee table but tonight it's got to be a bit of Amii Stewart, Knock on Wood.



 
Chuffed to bits with the win. Most I was hoping for was a 0-0 draw so it was fantastic to get the three points.

Has anyone seen Nobby? I spotted him and his notebook at the game and I was going to have a word with him about the wolf incident the other week but I lost him. I can usually track him by his scent but my senses let me down today. I hope he's alright.

Sorry to hear you’re not feeling well mate and you are feeling better soon.

The wife is also suffering from Pneumonia and you could hear her lungs gurgling. 😳

She’s on the mend now but the doc was wanting to admit her if she hadn’t started to improve.

If Cruella Braverman met the receptionist at our doctors, she would put her in charge of immigration’s, nothing can get past her. 😜

Had a strange experience the other day. Spoke to a doctor on the phone about my dad and she was really helpful. Most of the doctors and the staff that we've seen over the last few months have been pretty useless but this one seems like she actually gives a crap about a seventy six year old bloke who is losing his mind and falling to bits. It freaked me out a bit. I wasn't expecting it.

Thanks Norm, hope your wife improves quickly. Yes, I’m rattling and gurgling too. Apparently a normal CRP level is 10 or less, mine was 376 😳 I should have sought help sooner but like you say, probably wouldn’t have got past the receptionist! To be fair, they’ve been helpful since I was discharged.
