The weekend 🍺 and 🎶 thread

Afternoon all, hope you're looking forward to the weekend and ready to indulge yourselves in all things footy related! Great little turnaround in form and three wins in a row should see a confident Boro team tomorrow hopefully picking up another 3 points against Blackburn. It wouldn't be the Boro if we weren't being teased with thoughts of promotion. It's the hope that kills you!

I'm currently in Dublin ready which is unsurprisingly in full swing for St Patrick's Day, though its already starting to feel like a bit of a party.

Off to see Judas Priest tonight so will likely top it off with a Guinness or three, it would be rude not to.

I'm currently sitting in a bar indulging in a Smithwicks Red and it's a very agreeable drink.

I went to see the stage version of "Stranger Things" this afternoon. It's set in the 50's so can't sneak in a Kate Bush tune. Personally I really missed this

In the Scottish Borders tonight, already had a pint of Belhaven and Yardbird IPA at the local in the village where we are staying.
Got a nice bottle of rum cask Glen Livet for pudding!

Got the Virgin Winebank delivery yesterday so I'm drinking "A powerful Spanish Red." No music yet cos the others are still in the room. Mountain Goats when it clears though.

My usual sad "I'm six hours behind and working from home" post (although it's only 5 hours for now as our clocks have already gone forward in the US). Tomorrow I am off on a stag do in downtown Chicago (only doing the day-drinking part because I am a lightweight), so will be having some suitably festive tipples no doubt. Looking forward to watching them dye the Chicago River green!

Good old Fosters for me, would of been our dads 71st today and this was his go to so putting a few away for him.

Anyone clued up on The Rhythm Method? Loved their early stuff, seen they randomly released an album yesterday, played it earlier but didnt live up to my hype. Hoping it might need a second listen but cant see it.
