Yep, always loved it RK, and Lowcocks was the best by a mile. i Found I like soft drinks or a cuppa tea more than beer now. They don't mess with my thinners either
Usual M&S Valdepenas ... currently about £5 a bottle with my staff discount (courtesy Mrs 259). And I am absolutely besotted with this lot at the moment, so spent most of the evening watching clips of them .... and other rabbit holes.

On the wagon before a big family party tomorrow (our Ruby wedding) but I'll be back on the Leffe blonde on the night. My children have introduced me to the Pirate Metal genre, which seems a one joke affair but still fun.

I had a Brooklyn 0.4% and a rather nice Corona cero last night while listening to boat loads of music on my own. My wife is in Liverpool and I think now on the Beetles tour. I hate the Beetles and everything about them, so she is with friends. Today I think I will start a new audiobook rather than music. Lord of the Flies has been downloaded and not listened to for way too long. Sick to death of listening to self help/MH books, time for a story
Going to see these in a couple of weeks. Very excited as not seen them before. Seen Alestorm a few times and they're always a great night out, even for a non boozer.

I enjoyed the festival but was pretty disappointed at the organisation. We went twice to Albert Hall (Allah-lahs and BJM) only to find an excessive queue and little chance of getting in. Didn't put a damper on the day as we finally got round to cloudwater and track breweries
On the music front really enjoyed Jeffrey Lewis and Ulrika Spacek were absolutely incredible. Been wanting to see them for years. Caught some of Ezra although wasn't as good as previous times imo.

Picked up the Lidl octoberfest box this week, not tried any this week but got a few on ice for the rugby/football tonight.
charity shop cd trip yielded significant results, both in terms of quantity and quality so I'll swerve the specific tune and instead dedicate my choice this week to the 18 CDs in my bag waiting to be listened to

In Leeds with partner and daughter , open day at their University, very impressed .
Currently sat in a tapas bar overlooking the river having a few beers waiting for food .
