The weekend 🍺 and 🎶 thread (with some ⚽️ thrown in too)

No beer or music for me this evening it was a curry and film night.
I watched John Wick 4 and had A vindaloo and rice from my local takeaway. I alway request that the Vindaloo is extra extra hot, this time they obliged! My guess by the taste and smell they infused the vindaloo with Naga Jolokia/ghost chilli pickle.

Disappointed by the Kirkby Lonsdale Brewery tonight. I get that pubs are struggling, but if you are a Brewery taphouse showcasing your wares, why have so many beers on and not care whether they've been on since a week last Sunday?
They need to bottle all their beers and only have around 4 on draft at any one time, because half of what we were served tonight was poor and half of that was appalling.

Not sure if it was a b-side originally, may well have been. Fantastic song though.
Everybody’s Gotta Learn Sometimes, was the A side. The B side was called Dirty Postcards.
The A side was a great track. I love it.

Luke Kelly was a brilliant singer. For Irish folk music he is probably my second favourite traditional Irish folk singer, it just happens his band mate Ronnie drew is my favourite Irish folk singer. If you enjoy Irish folk music then give The Mary Wallopers a listen, they are not quite as raw and punchy as the pogues but a little bit more upbeat than The Dubliners. Sort of a happy medium between the two.
