Unique. I never met Ali but he was the voice I listened to on those away games mostly. Sitting with my passed Dad with the small black radio with the huge ariel on the mantlepieceE either on a dark winters night or a saturday afternoon Ali was there from 1982 till the end. He was a couple of years younger than me so we were brought up with the same Boro teams and I felt I just knew him as we talked the same language . Gone Too Soon .. Miss the man

We should be forever proud and humbled as a football club and a fanbase that we had a fan who loved us as much and championed the area as much as Ali Brownlee. If there was a Mount Rushmore for Boro legends, he'd be up there with the very best.

Still can’t believe the club haven’t named one of the stands after him. The amount he gave to the club it’s the least he deserves.
