He seemed a bit out of sorts tonight! You really think Sporar did anything of note when he came on?

Didn't think he was great but he was far better than Balogun who did nothing but give the ball back to WBA.Seeing a different game. I thought he was poor had a great chance in front of goal and made a real pigs ear of it.Offers far too little IMO
What is the required role?Ikpeazu and Coburn can't play in the role required so yes they are far worse than all 4 of them.
You have to be fairly mobile and be able to close down for as long as you're on the pitch, Ikpeazu is gasping for air after a couple of sprints and Coburn is very slow. If the strikers can't do that then the entire system falls apart because you get played through so easily. What is the required role?
Miss easy chances and not play in team mates on goal?
He looks much better than Forshaw, I think he’s gonna be a right player. His touch and vision are exceptional.Cracking.... I'm over all my HT doom and gloom
Impressed with McGree (has a look of Forshaw about him).
Tav looked class in his position.
Also thought Connally did well. A bit of a pest and put himself around. I slated the front 2 at HT but thought he put in a right shift.
You need your eyes testing. Why you all think Watmore is any good beats me. Four times he could have played a team mate in on goal, and four times he didn't. He nearly got in the way of Tavernier's goal.
I accept he's no worse than Balogun and Connolly though. Sporar looks like he just doesn't want to be there.
Ikpeazu and Coburn can't possibly be worse than those four wallopers.
Medical issue in the crowd. The night just gets better Sunderland a goal down just after half time.
Don't know why that game is so far behind?

So we are riding high with “four wallopers” up front. Bring more in I say then. Why you all think Watmore is any good beats me. Four times he could have played a team mate in on goal, and four times he didn't. He nearly got in the way of Tavernier's goal.

Agree with that except Balogun was a 4 at best.Good second half that, they lacked a cutting age, just waiting for us to make a mistake. Their attacking players completely ran out of steam though, we basically passed them off the pitch, they didn't want Dijksteel and McNair to come out with it so tried closing us down but the last 20 they were walking and that's when we dominated and could have got more on the break.
Lumley 5.5 - some dodgy kicks but good hands
Jones 8 - it was a defending tonight that I really liked, tracking back and outjumping Andy Carroll at the back stick!
Dijksteel 8 - used his pace and heading ability well in defence, but also got forward well, great skill for the Tav goal
Fry 8 - snuffed Carroll out of the game
McNair 8 - defended well and got forward well, and another goal
Taylor 6 - didn't do anything particularly wrong, but didn't offer anything going forward
Howson 8 - dropped and turned with the ball a lot worked tirelessly
McGree 7 - did pretty well and great ball to put Tav in for the pull back for McNair
Connolly 6 - worked hard chances did fall to him tonight
Balogun 5 - dropped deep too often needs to mix it up with running in behind
Watmore 7 - worked hard, ran the channels held it up
Sporar 5 - absolutely nothing came off for him
Peltier 6 - came on, kicked people, slowed the game down to get us over the line

agreed, he does work hard, reminds me of Paul Dickov, not afraid to mix it with people much bigger than him, always closing down, always in the face, and a right mood sod. I'm sure he will hit a purple patch soon and grab a few goals. Also thought Connally did well. A bit of a pest and put himself around. I slated the front 2 at HT but thought he put in a right shift.
10 obvsWasn’t Tav worth a mark?
Think I accidently deleted his line......I'd give him 8.25, 7.5 first half for effort, 9 second where they couldn't handle his footwork against the line and movement off the shoulder of the defenderWasn’t Tav worth a mark?
