* The Unofficial "Official" Boro v QPR Match-Day Thread *

Well he’s in the setup , so not surprising .

He should never have been brought back after he was sacked

To those saying it’s F***ing up because these are Carricks players now . Lol no no no and no , Carrick will have very little say on who is brought in . Warnock and others showed us that they have little say in transfers

The dinosaur chairman strikes again
Do you honestly think the Chairman scouts and signs the players ?

We've signed a number 9 that isn't a natural finisher. Missed sitters today.
Had 3 one on ones, should be getting at least 1 of them. I don’t buy the “natural goalscorer” thing. Nobody comes out of the womb like that. He’ll get goals but needs to get his confidence up

Confidence is a massive thing, as soon as we conceded that game was gone. However, we didn’t start well enough. We need our experienced players on the pitch and setting up with Silvera and Jones means we look to take on rather than build up. Players we’ve signed don’t fit the way Carrick had us playing last season.

Tell you what lads it might be **** but there's some cracking one liners on this thread, well done gents.

I think Carrick has earned the time to turn it around, but he needs to take some responsibility for the set up and subs. Why not change to 433 to get more bodies in midfield as it's clear teams have sussed us out. It's going to take time to gel the new players and maybe the international break has come at a good time.

Absolutely agree with this. I don’t want him out and he deserves time but it’s so frustrating watching him stick with the same tactics
