Season long loan with an option to buy, parent club able to terminate the loan in January if needed/desired…

Makes the £1.5m option a decent bit of business for Leeds. If he’s successful get him back in Jan with minutes under his belt, if he doesn’t pull up any trees then get £1.5m for a player that isn’t going to get them/play for them in the prem
Yeah, I'm struggling to make sense of it as well tbh. The 1.5m option is pointless if they can recall him. If he plays well and becomes worth more than the agreed fee then Leeds can just recall him and ask for,say, 5M instead and there's nothing we could do about it. We either have the option to make it permanent or we don't. Maybe there's a recall clause whereby we have to take up perm option or lose him. So they could force our hand in Jan to buy him or take him back.

Time will tell, hope we can keep him. I like the lad.
