* The Unofficial "Official" Boro v Hull [04/24] Match-Day Thread *

Regardless of what happens in the second half, the second half of that first half just sums up our season for me. Too languid and too passive. Get in front play well for a spell then take our foot off pedal and slow play down completely and allow opposition to get back into the game with our slow tempo on the ball and poor tracking/effort off the ball. You can clearly see who is putting maximum effort in and who is going through motions. Yes injuries have played a part but the squad clearly needs a revamp. Even if inferior players are to play they can be tolerated as long as they at least show some effort. I like carrick and the football he is attempting to play but his passiveness on the touch line and apparent lack of a plan b/c/d etc in games must play a part in certain players going through motions as they still get a game regardless of performance. Roll on next season if we can get quality players back from injury and keep them here too but we shall see if that’s the case.

The problem is philogene against ayling they haven't created anything down our left.

And we got our goal from the left. Poor summary
Philogene is a top player at this level. The point is we have no reliable interplay on the left side to build from that flank. Moves break down and it invites pressure.

Yes, you insulted me when I made a seasonable comment you disagreed with then you as ‘the self appointed expert’ use a term like brain fart.
I still have no idea what you are talking about? Your comment about engel was dumb.
