This has been terrible

Zero creativity and look weak at the back

Howson and Barlaser in CM is two players doing 1 players job

Luongo and Morsy both chose not to go to help Ipswich.

Rather ridiculous that a player who has missed months due to injury and still has yet to start a game is choosing to go play for Australia when he knows we are currently struggling and will miss a cup semi final.

Luongo is 34, has already won the Asian Cup, has barely been selected in years.

Morsy is 32 and has almost never been picked for Egypt.

McGree is one of Australia's key players.

They have both announced their international retirements give their age and bit part roles with their respective international teams. McGree is still to hit his peak and is a regular starter so that is a ridiculous comparison to make.

But you knew that.

It feels a bit like when we played at Hillsborough earlier this season. Bits and pieces of possibilities but hugely frustrating to watch.

They started out pressing us right up to our defence and we couldn't handle it. We looked more and more nervy. Had Isaiah put that away we might have settled and gone on to dominate. We need a bit of luck (in addition to their own gaping miss against the crossbar).

8 wins and 1 draw from ten games he started suggests otherwise
Have you seen his movement in his recent cameos, he can barely walk, let alone run at the moment. Those games above he was fully fit now he’s carrying an injury.

Reactions: Blf
That first half was shocking. Some players who shouldn’t be near to the team…greenwood, Silvera, jones (needs a rest as he is awful) and glover looks like he has a mistake in him every fifteen minutes.

Luongo hasn’t played for Australia for five years and retired from international duty a couple of weeks ago. Morsy was left out of Egypt’s last squad in October, made the preliminary 55-man squad but dropped out before the squad was announced. He probably wouldn’t have been included in the final group anyway if the latest friendlies are any sort of guide.

Cameron Burgess is going away with Australia though. What a scumbag. How dare he represent his country at international level.

Same old same old, get the ball into good positions and often just end up going backwards and it fizzles out. Huddersfield just much more direct but not much in terms of football from them.

Hate to say this, but we look poorly coached in the final third. Realise this is a very ad-hoc front four, but no one seems to have a clue how to get into position to shoot.

Had more that enough chances to have a shot at the 3rd choice keeper in wet and windy conditions but instead passed it sideways.
