All about the performance today. Yes of course 3 points would have been better but we've come on massively in the last two games and you could see a marked improvement.
On another day with a bit more luck thats a 4-1 win.

So many positives there, we look like a side that can actually knock the ball around and break down teams that just want to sit back.

We are breaking the lines so often now with balls through midfield to McGree and Akpom, before we'd constantly go around the lines which makes it a lot easier to defend. Definitely helps that Hackney is a proper footballer although Howson is doing the same thing, maybe they were told not to play risky balls through the lines before.

I assume Carrick took the job because he was promised money to spend in Jan. We need at least a good striker,if we can find one. So many shots on target but only one goal tells you all you need to know about the caliber of our strike force.
 
Played great but these are the games where our fellow crappy teams win by scoring off corners and free kicks. We still need work on these. The two free kicks from Giles and Howson at the end sums us up. Couldn’t beat the first man.
 
I know we played well, but the positives are eluding me at the moment as I'm still raging at the result. I just can't get past the fact that we only got one point. Nothing else really matters, personally.
 
The best we have played in months.

Keeper made a couple of super saves - especially the second one from McGree in the first half.

McGree and Hackney were superb.

Jones was not playing well but still created 3-4 chances.

Chuba is the form striker in the league

Think they brought Crooks on to see if he could get on the end of one of the million crosses we put in and maybe alternate with Chuba.

Loads of positives.

Midfield and defence so much better than a few weeks ago.
 
Looking at it from the Brizzle pov I would say their plan to defend deep and hit on the break worked pretty well, aided by some worldy goalkeeping.
