The unofficial "Official" 5-games-to-go Boro v QPR Match Thread

I don’t get the perseverance with Spence - is he hoping he puts in a half decent performance so he can flog him and gives us funds towards the rebuild?

Clearly Still no faith in any of our forwards. I think it's pretty damming playing 2 wingers up top. I guess at least the gaffer agrees with us😂

Archer a suprise but I'm working on the 'he can't be any worse' theory. I said that when we signed Akpom. So it's not always a giver.

Still fancy a Boro win today
I'd rather have 3 youngsters on the bench getting experience, instead of wasting 3 spaces with Fletcher, Assombalonga and Akpom
If Brynn is available I'd have him on the bench for experience too instead of Bettinnelli

iFollow must have some sort of fetish about putting one player's full name in each match teamsheet.

We had Patrick James Coleman McNair on the teamsheet earlier in the season, and now today we have George Alan Saville.

Couldnt agree more

I hope some of our youngsters get as much chance a s a £7m project flop in Fletcher, massive, massive let down for me

Meanwhile:
We all wish Darren Moore a speedy recovery.

Darren Moore won’t stop ringing Jamie Smith – even after the Sheffield Wednesday boss was told to rest up

Sheffield Wednesday assistant, Jamie Smith, says that Darren Moore won’t stop ringing him – even though he’s meant to be resting up.

Get well soon.

What experience worth having do you get from being selected to sit on the bench with a bunch of guys who don't want to be at the club, with no hope of getting part of a game, no crowd and nothing at stake in the game?

What a silly post, of course they are getting experience being around the first team...hey what if one of them actually gets on ????

In case I didn't make it clear I want those wanting away to be away from the bench - so they would not be sat with them
In case I didn't make it clear they'd get experience seeing how the first team prepare for matches, how the first team set up works - and they might just get on the pitch, gaining experience playing against other clubs first team players
