The way I see it, we’ve had 3 big chances and they’ve had zero, their goal was a hit n hope, never looked at the goal once.
If we get another 3 good chances and they’ve create what they did (little), then we should win.
Their striker never touched the ball for 35 minutes.

Played well until their goal. Wasteful in front of goal (again) though. Kelechi probably scores both of Forss' chances.
We actually look a little bit better in defensive transition tonight. It's noticeable that the midfield two are dropping in deep quicker when we lose it. Id argue too deep at times (on top of the back four). Telling that their only goal came from that position on the edge of the box.

I think we started brilliantly and really got at them. Got the goal at a great time and then they found themselves getting back in the game. If only we had taken a couple of those chances whilst on top. The Forss header and the one he skied from Hackneys pass were golden opportunities.
Unfortunately same old story of conceding soft goals. Burgzorg has to do better there, he just got outfought in a critical part of the field and he really shouldn’t have taken the chance. I don’t blame Edmundson, any defender would throw themselves at that and there deflection could have gone anywhere.
I’m concerned for the second half given how they have seemed to go so far this season. They are a real battling side and we need to stand up to them.

Whittaker was bright first 25. Excellent ball for Ayling and some nice link up with Azaz. He's made one sloppy pass not sure what people are watching.

That's the change I would make to mart. Forss is getting in the right position but he is rusty.

I was thinking, why has nobody commented on how good the ball was from Hackney for our goal? Eye of the needle stuff.

Haven't read the thread tbh, I just mean in general. The attitude towards him since he signed is the summer has been shocking. He's a good player.

He won't have played a game up front for a very long time he's done okay. Got in some good positions and works his socks off out of possession

Think we need changes early on here, bring Conway and Iling-Junior on.
