We can and should hope erimus. Not sure what the vaccination take up figures are but assuming similar to flu at 70% we may well still see a 3rd wave in the UK when we open up. Fingers crossed for a much better 2021.Hopefully as the R number is dropping over here & the vaccine is in full swing that we can start to open up slowly & carefully & then those countries will be able to follow our lead

I don't know the definition, but I think it is to do with a natural decline due to outside conditions, such as weather, and not manual intervention. Was our increase over Christmas still classed as the second wave or third given we had a mini-lockdown and got the cases down again?
My picture is of Andy Wilson and he is part of a collection of cigarette cards I had passed on to me by my grandad Billy. Billy was my mums stepdad and was a great influence on me before he died. He would sit for hours and talk football with me and we would both sit and listen to the Boro match together on the radio. I was one of nine grandkids and no one else was allowed in the room whilst the match was on.Norman was it you who posted your picture is of Andrew Wilson, which you found in your loft?
Great card & great goalscoring player for us
I think it was the second wave but there is some hope our third won’t be bad. I think Europe is seeing a lot of the Kent variant which is a pretty bad spreader. That’s already the dominant variant in the U.K. so hopefully what they are seeing, we have already seenWas our increase over Christmas still classed as the second wave or third given we had a mini-lockdown and got the cases down again?

The cards are kept in a 1930's Fry's Chocolate Cream cardboard box, in and envelope that is tucked into my first pair of football boots. There is also a picture of Jock Marshall who played right back for the Boro.
And wave goodbye to a holiday abroad this year without major disruption if you are allowed to go!We can and should hope erimus. What is that people don't understand about not having to follow the EU recommendation? The UK could have run the exact same program as part of the EU.We are running a highly successful vaccination program, they are not.
That’s the difference.
I didn’t vote for Brexit but I am now pleased we are not part of the EU.
Following their previous behaviour the likes of Merkel saying “vaccinate vaccinate vaccinate “
Fools. They have brought this on themselves.
