The Stage is all set for tonight

Wouldn’t know, I missed their entire set queuing for a beer! Superb night but the kiosks were a disgrace.

A lady next to us disappeared for over an hour and a half in the queue for a drink, in the end her other half went to find her and drag her out of the queue and back into the stadium. I think it was just the volume of people.

It was a great night and about as close to a sell out as you could get. There's always gaps on-pitch due to health and safety regulations. Flowers is a top front-man. Even on the lesser known songs he somehow manages to whip up the crowd. I thought the stage set, backdrop, tickertape and fireworks were excellent too. A truly awesome night and as a town Middlesbrough should be extremely proud of itself .

My passengers loved it. Dropped them off at 4 on Linny Road, was on the road to the Tranny at 10.30 to pick them up but they managed to get lost

Eventually tracked them down at 11.30 and brought them back to the car. They loved the concert but couldn't get near the bar (fortunately). Apparently their phones are still in my car

I didn’t bother trying to get tickets as I’m not a massive fan of The Killers but spent most of last night with huge FOMO looking at all the photos and videos.

Looks like everyone has a fantastic night.

I can hear it clear as day 12 miles away sat at the bottom of the Cleveland Hills.

I should of stayed at home and saved an hours queue for food and an hours unsuccessful wait for a drink! Seriously, both bands were great and entry and exit were both pretty smooth. Brandon Flowers is a proper front man.
Overall a brilliant event.

Looks like it was an excellent night (except the queue for drinks) for 31k plus people there.

MFC should have made money too (six figure sum?) toward the costs of the up keep of the stadium.

It also bring some money into the area.

Friend said Manics should have been top of the bill as they were excellent although she still enjoyed Killers. I never went so cannot judge.

I’ve been lucky enough over the years to see hundreds of bands perform ‘live’ in all sorts of venues. Last night at the Riverside was right up there…superb entertainment and an electric atmosphere!

I was chatting to some who were from Manchester and some who had left hull on a bus at 1.30. They expected to get home about 3am
