The Rolling Stones "Hackney Diamonds"

Brilliant! Great from start to finish. Was never the biggest fan of The Stones in my earlier years but appreciate their work so much more now, and this album is a cracker!!
There's an excellent interview here with Jagger. It demonstrates what a good interviewer (like Parkinson) can get out of a guest. Also, Mick reveals that there's another new album in the pipeline.

Same - apart from the absolute classics like Gimme Shelter and Start Me Up I've always been left cold by the Rolling Stones circus and never got the enduring appeal, but the album is class from start to finish. It sounds huge.

Gave it a try - listened to the first two tracks before deciding it wasn’t for me.
Pleased it works for others - enjoy

Edit

As I was typing - the 3rd track came on. Enjoying it…so will leave it on a bit longer

I suggest you give it to the end of the album. I really like the last two tracks.

That’s just what I did in the end….
Thought there were 3 really good tracks and the rest kind of passed me by

Horsed for courses and all that

Twaddle. Swiss Cottage posh boys singing about somewhere they’d never venture.
T0ssers.
Mick and Keith? They're from Dartford and they have been in some pretty hairraising predicaments in their lives. See the Gimme Shelter film for reference. No modern bands would have carried on with that concert.

Fair enough, I will check out the film BBG, though Jaggwr was hardly a working class boy.
