The real difference under carrick is goals

A settled team must help things and building partnerships. From what I have seen in the highlights the players seem to know exactly where another player will be so the team are able to pass the ball around more freely and create chances. In the past we have had a formation then players fitted into that and the team sheet was almost like a lottery.
I am all for a set first team with players in the background fighting for a place if form drops or injuries but only needing to change 1 or 2 players at a time, of the players on the bench are good pros they will work harder to try to get noticed and picked which will have a knock on effect with the player who are starting know that if the form drops they will be replaced, it's very good sports psychology which will build confidence and make players work harder, As a player Carrick obviously had a very good work ethic and determination to achieve what he did in his playing career.

Let's get this Blackburn monkey off our back tomorrow night and then we can really start to believe.
C'mon Boro

Would josh coburn be ideal to come in for forss..
forss has a good work rate with little to show for it, may be just bad luck but coburn seems to know where the goal is and is a good target man.. will we see him back or is he gone for good?
For me Coburn stays where he is till the end of the season, it is the best place for him to develop and I think the club know that too!
