The NFL is BACK

Like I said, they have a really tough schedule.....and as all teams know they are 2-3 key injuries away from having a poor season. And as they have not won a SB, don't (yet) have that Patriots/Brady-esque mentality in the playoffs they will remain as contenders.
They're 1/2 favs to win their division, 7/2 favs to win the AFC and 6/1 favs for the Superbowl. Nothing is guaranteed and they could very well fall short of expectations, but sorry you still can't claim the favourites as your "dark horses".

Most of the good teams have tough schedules and injuries can ruin anyones season so that's not a reason to underrate the Bills either.

They haven't won a superbowl yet but neither had Brady or Belicheck's Patriots until they won one, you have to start somewhere.

The Bills are the bookies favourites for a reason, they're great on both sides of the ball, they have a top 5 quarterback and they are head and shoulders above everyone else in the AFC East.

They are rightly being picked by a lot of pundits to win the SB for a reason, they couldn't be further away from being a dark horse. A dark horse is someone that the majority of fans and pundits don't expect to win, the Bengals were a dark horse last season, Buffalo certainly aren't.

Okay, fair comments. Not one of the "Usual suspects" would be more apt.

Absolutely not under rating them - the physical talent is there, just need that extra bit of mental to get them to the SB. All comes with experience.

They certainly have the talent both sides of the ball (could have been special teams too if the rookie super punter Araiza wasn't cut.......😳) and absolutely expect them to be playoffs minimum.

👍

If Derrick Henry stays fit, then I am hoping that the Titans have a chance at a decent season.

Who knows how the Browns will do. I had high hopes for this year then the whole QB situation blew up and it's now a bit of a ***show.

I think Allen and the Bills have improved massively season upon season, with Von Miller and a decent draft you've got to expect another step forward.

They went toe to toe with Mahomes in Kansas in the playoffs and there was nothing in that performance that made me think they were mentally lacking.

The Bills will win their division, I'm a Dolphins fan and expect them to take a step forward but the Bills have our number and they're still a level above. The Jets have improved but are still a very poor team and the Patriots are worse.

So who's gonna have a better record than the Bills? The Chiefs are weaker and their division is stronger, all the AFC West teams are going to take games off each other.

A stronger Bills with home field advantage have to be strong favourites to win the AFC.

Jets fan. All I want is for some meaningful games in the stretch - getting very tiring looking forward to next year by Halloween.

I am, however, a perennial optimist. And I think it'll be a winning season.

Would not be surprised to see the Pats (finally) struggle now McDaniel has left. Patricia isn't an offensive coordinator.

Another interesting season.

Suppose you have to look at the Rams and Chiefs as the two "obvious" favourites, but looks once again to be an open season.

Bills could be dark horses........
Thankfully the NFL have amended that stupid OT rule which caused the Bills to lose their playoff game last season.

I’ll be glad when week 1 is over.

Can’t say I’m looking forward to the season but I’ll still be watching every Browns game.

My Sunday evenings sorted until the New Year.

I remember a few people on here tipping the Cowboys this time last year 😂

Let's see if this years predictions are any better!

On paper the best teams from last season still look like the best teams. The AFC certainly has more depth, all 4 AFC West teams would probably make the playoffs if they were in the NFC.

Outside bets for a good season would be the Chargers, Dolphins and Vikings for me.
I hate the Cowboys. Americas team! Their win at all cost ethos sums up what's wrong with America.

We do have a new punter now though
