The NFL is BACK

Another interesting season.

Suppose you have to look at the Rams and Chiefs as the two "obvious" favourites, but looks once again to be an open season.

Bills could be dark horses........

I think this season could be even more wide open than last (and last year was wide open)

I really couldn't predict who is going to be in the final two.... and looking at the pundit predictions i don't think they do either.

Yes. Predictions are widespread. Chiefs are slightly weaker without Tyreek Hill. I don't think Buccs can repeat last seasons glory.

I think I would be looking at Rams or Bills.

Chance to Bengals or 49ers.

Outsider to over achieve - Cardinals. (I love watching Murray play so maybe a bit biased)

Spent some time I Wisconsin so what chance for the Packers?lways seem to be there or thereabouts

They will always be in the mix while Rodgers is still at the helm although his go to man Devante Adams has moved to the Raiders. Will be interesting to see how this affects his performance.

I remember a few people on here tipping the Cowboys this time last year 😂

Let's see if this years predictions are any better!

On paper the best teams from last season still look like the best teams. The AFC certainly has more depth, all 4 AFC West teams would probably make the playoffs if they were in the NFC.

Outside bets for a good season would be the Chargers, Dolphins and Vikings for me.

Vikings fan here. Looking forward to another brief flirtation with getting into the play offs and then ending in the usual failure.

Not sure anyone could class the Bills as dark horses. 3 point favs away to the reigning champs.

Their schedule is a tough one - and if the Jets show improvement (which is expected) the AFC East is going to be brutal. The match up with the NFC North gives them their best chance of some Ws, but even the Packers and Bears could also be looking good. Or bad.......

Get through the 17 games into the playoffs and they could well be looking at a SB appearance.

Jets fan here (despite being a relative newcomer to the sport)

Pre-season has looked encouraging, not sure if that holds any sort of importance for the main season though?

The Bills are the favourite to reach the superbowl in the AFC, they are not remotely a dark horse.
Like I said, they have a really tough schedule.....and as all teams know they are 2-3 key injuries away from having a poor season. And as they have not won a SB, don't (yet) have that Patriots/Brady-esque mentality in the playoffs they will remain as contenders.
