He literally want's a rapist to be the president of the US. If that's not exactly supportive of it then it certianly is excusing it, which is nearly as bad

I'd even go one step further.

They're both applying to run a dog shelter. They're the only two candidates and one of them will get the job.

There are a few people on the panel and you think quite a few of them might vote for the dog killer. Maybe enough for him to get the job.

You say they're both liars though so you don't vote for either of them and the dog killer gets the job.

You sleep easy knowing at least you didn't vote for someone who lied about stealing a coke. Sorry about that dogs, but I've got my morals..

It’s been claimed by people who know about the subject that the onset of dementia is prevalent and getting worse. His latest ramblings add a lot of weight to these observations.
Plus the longtime claims that Putin’s crew have a great deal of Kompromat on him.
There’s a pretty good chance of him winning.

That's terrifying isn't it? And that's the issue, you see it with far right agitators like @Richmond_Boro here . No manner of nastiness, no amount of lies, no criminal conviction, no incoherent speech and failing health, can stop them from supporting him. it's the same with the Reformers in the UK. They can't actually unndertsand the truth anymore. Theyve been lied to so much they just dig in. it's terrifying that the western world is this stupid

When they hear the truth they dismiss it as lies. They think they're being clever by exerting 'critical thinking' when in reality they're either just daft, paranoid or simply entrenched in their views.

Well said. It's actually really scary that so many people can be manipulated. The far right have really jumped on peoples lack of critical thought and natural bigotry to form an unthinking mindless cult haven't they. In years to come, psychologists will study this

Red, Maybe you have noticed with people now gaining most of their information from online sources. There has been concerted and systematic efforts to disassemble what is true and false….the “alternative facts” saga in point By doing so it becomes an exercise in making it almost impossible to recognise lies, and by doing so destroying ‘truth’
And, they’re winning.
