Afternoon ladies and gents of the FMTTM universe and if I may wish each and every one of you all the best for 2022 and here's to hoping its a vast improvement on the last 2 years. It's been a difficult year for everyone on so many levels with people concerned about jobs, bills, health, mental health issues and more. New year is always a time for reflection as well as looking forward and to that end we have lost 2 of the great board members recently in @Borobarmy and @bear66 both of whom are a massive miss not just on this board but to their respective familes, friends, colleagues and communities too.If I have forgotten to mention any other members who are no longer with us no offence is intended of course and I apologise in advance should that be the case.
Without wanting to mention names there are a number of members of our board suffering with varying health and mental health issues too and so I want to wish those a really positive change in the New Year and that things improve quickly for them all - however, never forget we are a community and we are all here to help and support each other.
Onto more positive things next year looks much more positve from a footballing point of view and we go into 2022 with a huge level of hope and optimism. This season may be too early but there's been a massive shift in a short space of time under Chris Wilder and things are looking very rosy moving forward - lets hope he can get us promoted whether it be this season or next.
Getting onto the subject of drink now i've just found myself a new drink that I haven't tried before so have a few chilling in the fridge for later - it might be something @BoroFur has experienced before and if so, I hope it comes highly recommended as I'll be indulging in the stuff shortly!
Muscially, what else could I possibly start with but the fantastic Auld Lang Syne? Here's to a great night to you all and a much better 2022 for us all. Best wishes.
